.) Heat up glue gun.

.) Take the cardstock and fold in half and cut. This should leave you with two pieces of paper, enough to make two cards. If you have fancy edged scissors, use them at this time to make pretty edges on the cards.

.) Decide what decorations you would like to go on your card and where.

.) If you would like to do a vellum overlay, cut the vellum to the desired size. In the example, the vellum is cut 1/4" smaller than the size of the face of the card.

.) For the example of the large paper heart, be sure to glue the heart down first to the face of the card.

.) Once the glue from the larger pieces have hardened, being gluing on your smaller decorations. If you want to embellish your card with colored or glitter glue, be sure to do that last, after gluing down the decorations.

.) If you decide to use scrapbook stickers, be sure to add a dot of glue to the backs, since the sticker part won't be sturdy enough to hold it to the face of the card.

.) Once all that is dried, either hand write in your sentiments with a pen or even use leftover glue!
