First impression? "Oh, wow." I saw this craft site and thought, "Now this is something that needs to be shared." While I'm not stressing that everyone should run out and buy a box of Tampax and begin building an army of tampon blow dart guns, it is pretty darn funny. And technically it is a Glue Gun Craft, since they use a glue gun to build almost all the crafts!

The crafts range from heart tampon earrings (ewwww- there is a line after all to be crossed) to Christmas tree toppers- (now that should make for an interesting conversation with Grandma.) The crafts are really quite clever and the New Year's Ball even has a YouTube video complete with Auld Lang Syne and a countdown.
While the crafts are built from a less than a craft show sales friendly medium, and might possibly horrify some ladies, there is definitely a fun aspect to all the crafts... that is if you've got a sense of humor about the world of menstrual cycles. Or as I like to call it, "the awesomeness that is being woman." (And yes, that is a patent pending phrase. T-shirts coming soon.)
In regards to the Tampon Shooter specifically, the following comment was left on GGC by "Thomas" not too long ago:
please can you put on your website how to make cool guns out of cardborda cool one like a colt or a pistol and matchene guns please can you send me things to my e-mail address
Thomas- this one's for you. It may not be a Colt or a Pistol, but it is technically made of cardboard (applicators) and is cool. Be sure at the very least to use their tips on building a bandolier with just duct tape, plasitic applicators and Velco.
