Materials:
Glue gun/ clear glue sticks
Blank cork board (any size)
Ribbon
Silk flowers
Picture hanger/small nail
Decorations: Rhinestones, letter tiles, Lego pieces, stickers, game board pieces, you name it!

1.) Heat up glue gun and put in glue.
2.) Decide how you want your corkboard to look. Keep in mind that you'll be tacking items to it, so any decorations along the bottom and sides might get covered up!
3.) If you want have a ribbon border, start there first. Have your starting edges be on the top (if you're going to do a large central decoration- like the flower in the example, edges on top. If not, on the bottom, since you'll be covering it up anyway.)
4.) Be sure to use a ribbon wide enough to go across the top and have overlap on the front side, about 1 inch to 2 in width.
5.) Using your glue gun, glue the ribbon down all around the corkboard, you'll have to glue down the ribbon the sides and just a little on the front too to keep the ribbon from sticking up.
6.) If you're planning on using a large central decoration like in the example picture, glue that on now.
7.) Next glue on any and all smaller decorations to your heart's content!
Now it just needs to be hung up!

Mini and larger size corkboards can be found at any craft store, hardware or even local all purpose store (think Fred Meyer, Target etc;) Dress them up for a personalized touch!
