Materials:
Glue gun/ clear glue sticks/ one glitter glue stick
Colored craft form
Small piece of cardstock
Sharp scissors
X-Acto Knife
Ruler
1.) Heat up glue gun and put in clear glue stick.
2.) Cut your pattern out of card stock, one edge should be 3 inches long, two edges should be 1 1/4 inch long and the diagonal edge should be 2 inches long.
3.) Take your pattern and a pencil and trace the pattern onto the colored foam. You'll need 4 pieces of each color total.
4.) Build one side the star at a time, lining your pieces up before you begin, in alternating colors. Remember, craft foam is reversible, so you might have to flip some of the pieces over to make them fit.
5.) Using your glue gun, apply glue to 1 bottom or side edge of the piece at a time, then pressing the adjoining piece on and holding it in place until the glue hardens.
6.) Continue applying pieces until you have two separate stars made up.
7.) Glue the two stars together, making sure to have applied glue in the center and a light application on all the points.
8.) Take your glitter stick of glue and apply a line of glitter glue all around the edges of the star.
Now you've got a fun little toy that's fun for any age!
