Materials:
Glue gun/ clear glue sticks
Plain wooden box
Lots of seashells
Embellishments of your choice: glitter, sequins, flowers, feathers
I went for the minimalist look with my seashell box, deciding that less is more!
1.) Heat up glue gun and put in glue.
2.) Sort out all your seashells by type. Once you get gluing this will greatly speed up the process.
3.) Determine how you want your project to look and lay the shells out in the pattern first, before gluing on. I recommend working on the lid first and then the sides of the box.

4.) Next, working from the center out, begin gluing your shells onto the lid in the desired pattern. Be sure that you're getting the edges of the shell from the inside in, so that when you press the shell down onto the box the excess glue will push towards inside of the shell and not the outside, creating a visible mess.
5.) Once you've got the shells on the lid in place, time to start working on the sides. Be sure to once again lay out your pattern before you start gluing.

6.) If you decide you want to add embellishments, depending on where you want those to go will determine when to start adding those. If they're part of the design, obviously you would treat them as shells and glue those in at the same time you're gluing on the shells.

That's it! Very easy, very simple, yet very pretty!
