Smilemonsters at Blogspot posted this cute, quick and holiday festive craft on creating a trio of pine cone "trees" in clay flower pots, adorned with plastic berries and ribbon. The trick is in the embellishments. The clay pots and pine cone are plain, but with the right ribbon, a few holly leaves and brightly colored berries you can have a holiday happy home for a lot less than if you simply bought from a store!

i love this!!! I have some huge pinecones I got at my father in law's house and I was plaining on making a large wreath. Now that I have seen these adorable mini trees.... I am thinking I will be making these also!! Thank you for sharing!
