Blue Glitter Christmas Ornament

Materials:
Glue gun/ clear glue sticks

Ultra violet fine glitter
White pearl ribbon or something similar for around the ornament cap (try the wedding lace section!)
Blank glass craft ornament

1. This first part will take a little while, so start this before anything else.

2. Remove the ornament cap and set aside, squirt the Liquid Rainbow paint into the ornament. Swirl around until completely coated inside.

3. Set ornament upside down on some newspaper for excess paint to drip out and dry. I recommend an egg carton.

4. When the paint is inside is dry to the touch, pour some ultra violet fine glitter inside.

5. Cover the ornament hole with your thumb and give it a few good shakes to get the glitter spread out all throughout the ornament.

6. Replace the ornament cap.

7. Heat up glue gun and put clear glue sticks in.

8. Take the white pearl ribbon (or similar) and apply a dab to the outside of the ornament cap and press the end of the ribbon in. Hold until hardened.

9. Work your way around the ornament cap and ribbon, gluing down as you go around. Cut away excess ribbon and glue end down.

10. Apply glue to the back of the of the white fabric flower and hold to the center of the ornament until hardened.

11. If there are petals sticking up, apply a dab of glue under the petals and press down to the ornament until it hardens.

12. Take the hanger ribbon and thread through the ornament cap opening, glue ends together to form a loop.

That's it! Merry Christmas!

I'm looking for ornament caps for our porcelain ornaments. Do you have a source?

Thanks

Hi Viki-
Sorry it took so long for me to see your comment. I would try National Artcraft for ornament caps: http://www.nationalartcraft.com/subcategory.asp?gid=12&cid=97&scid=196
