Pom Pom Wreath Christmas Ornament

Pom Pom Wreath Christmas Ornament

This ornament is so easy to make and economical to boot! If you have a large bunch of pom poms sitting around you could make several in different sizes and colors!

Materials:
Glue gun/ clear glue sticks
Metallic pom poms in the 1/4 inch size (2 colors or more). 14 were used to make the 3 inch by 3 inch example.
Matching ribbon for hanger, about 6 inches long and another 8 inches long for a bow

1. If you want to do a specific pattern, lay out your pom poms before you get started gluing.

2. Heat up glue gun and put in glue.

3. Apply a dollop of glue to the first pom pom press to the next color of pom pom in your wreath. Hold in place until the glue hardens.

4. Continue gluing pom poms to each other, be sure to periodically angle them slightly and keep bending into a wreath shape as you go. This way when it's time to glue the ends together to complete the circle the pom poms will be easy to shape.

5. For the example wreath a total of 7 gold and 7 silver pom poms were used.

6. Next take the 6 inch piece of ribbon, fold in half and glue the ends together.

7. Once that glue has hardened, apply a dollop to the back and glue to what will be top back of your wreath.

8. Now make a bow with the 8 inch long piece of ribbon.

9. Apply glue to the back of the bow and press to the front of the wreath in front of the hanger.

That's it!
