  1. Heat up your glue gun and load up with glue sticks
  2. Start gluing the candy canes together in a rounded shape. Apply glue liberally at the base of the cane, up to the halfway point and hold in place until the glue hardens.

  4. Work your way around and use the taper as a measuring stick as to whether or not you're on target for the right shape

  6. Don't glue too far up the canes, the plastic isn't the bendiest kind usually and can snap the cane in half. If done right, you'll use 11 or all 12 of the canes.

  7. Now that the canes are all glued together, grab your ribbon or cord. In this case, since we used cord in the example, apply a small dot of glue just below the middle of the cane bunch.

  8. Press the end of the cord into the glue and wait till it hardens and begin wrapping around the cane bunch. Wrap at least 3-4 times to get a nice thickness.

  10. Glue the loose end of the cord to the cane bunch.

  12. Create a little bow from the cord, using your hot glue gun.

  14. Glue the bow to the center of your candy cane bunch.

That's it! So easy, less than $3 to make and fun too!

Sorry La Tanya, I've been out! I got the candy canes at a dollar store, Dollar Tree. I'm sure that doesn't help much, but I'm sure you could find some more online.
