Valentine's Day Paper Weights

Valentine's Day Paper Weights

I suppose these could also be magnets, but I've been using these 2.5 inch glass circles as festive Valentine's Day paperweights and you can too! There's nothing particularly difficult about this fun little Valentine's Day craft, so hit your local craft store and get going!

Materials:
Glue gun/ clear glue sticks
Flat back, clear glass marbles, 2inches or bigger
Cardstock, scrapbook or glitter foam paper in your color choice
Mod Podge
Fun Valentine's ribbon like hearts
Rhinestone jewels

  1. Cut circles from the cardstock or foam in the size of the clear glass marbles, just slightly smaller. I used a Fiskar's circle cutter to make it even easier.
  2. Spread Mod Podge over the back of the clear glass marble and press the cardstock circle on, set down (cardstock side down) and let dry for a few hours or over night. If you go with foam glitter, it'll definitely take over night to dry.

  3. Next, heat up your glue gun and get ready to start embellishing!

  4. Glue on the hearts or ribbon, pressing firmly and letting harden before adding any rhinestones.

  6. Continue embellishing the sides and top as desired.

That's it! A super easy Valentine's Day craft, but leaving LOTS of room for creativity!
