Instead of plastic Easter eggs to fill and hide or displayed around the house, mix it up a little this year with plastic jelly beans! Poke around grocery stores, drug stores or anywhere selling the plastic eggs really and you're bound to come across them. But, go one step further and deck those plain jelly beans out with glitter and embellishments for a really festive and unique egg hunt.
Materials
plastic jelly bean eggs
Aleene's tacky glue
clear sealant
glitters in various colors, blended glitters are even better

- Open the jelly beans and brush the tacky glue liberally over each side.
- Coat with glitter, tap to shake off excess glitter and set to dry.
- Once dry, brush sealant over the jelly beans and let dry.
- Now here comes the fun! Embellishing. Heat up your glue gun and lay out your embellishments.
- If you're using ribbons, start with gluing down the ribbon first, then other embellishments like rhinestones or buttons.

That's it! Fill with candy, toys or coins or place in a basket or bowl for a fun centerpiece.
