Going to the beach this summer? Chances are you're going to need a bag to put all of your sunscreen, shades, towel and snacks in. In just a few minutes make the perfect summer tote bag with just a few simple supplies. Buy a plain reusable tote from any craft supply store, then grab a few add extra decorations to make it personalized. Our favorite for summer is a beach theme. Buy a bag of various seashells that have at least one flat side on them, this way it is much easier to adhere them. We also like putting a starfish or some kind of larger object to grab attention.
Materials
Glue gun with clear sticks
Plain Tote
Bag of seashells
Large sand dollar, starfish, or focal piece
- Heat up your glue gun and put in a clear stick
- Lay out your tote and arrange the sea shells how you want them
- Glue the shells individually and place on the bag
- Lay flat to dry for an hour, just in case!
