Black Lace Pumpkin Decoration

Lend a little bit of a Victorian influence (and maybe even a little sexy?) flair to you pumpkin decorating efforts this Halloween season. All you need is a little black lace material, pumpkins and a glue gun!

Materials
1- pumpkin (sugar, mini, ghost, whatever)
1/4-1/2 yard of black lace material
glue gun
clear glue sticks
embellishments (optional: feathers, trim, ribbons or silk flowers)

  1. Heat up glue gun and insert clear glue stick.
  2. Spread lace material out and place pumpkin to one of the edges so that it uses the least amount of fabric.
  3. Gather the fabric up and note where the stem is and cut a tiny hole for the stem to poke out.
  4. Start gluing the black lace to the bottom of the pumpkin, keeping it as taught as possible to avoid bunching.

  6. Continue until all the ends have been glued down and secured. Trim excess fabric while doing this to avoid a large mass of fabric on the bottom of the pumpkin.
