A plain glass ornament and a pearlized glitter really make this heart pop! Whether you fill a tiny tree of ornaments like this, suspend it from a window or fill a bowl with them for a pretty but not overwhelming Valentine's display.
Materials
glass heart ornament
pearlized glitter (Stampendous Ultrafine Pearl Cherry)
Aleene's tacky glue
paintbrush
sealant
white lace
glue gun and clear glue clear sticks
- Liberally apply tacky glue to the glass ornament and brush all over.
- Pour glitter over heart and gently spread with your finger. Shake off excess glitter.
- Let dry for at least 2hours or overnight.
- Brush sealant over heart and let dry.
- Heat up glue gun and put glue sticks in.
- Apply dot of glue to cap or ornament and press edge of lace into, let harden.
- Repeat around the cap until covered with lace, trim excess.
- Attach ribbon or hanger if desired.
