Cute Easter Egg Bunny Craft

Yep, the title pretty much explains it all, it's a tiny pink bunny in a robin's egg blue Easter egg, decorated with lace and flowers- what's not to like? Nothing! And you can make your own faster than Alice can fall down a rabbit hole.

Materials You'll Need

  • 1- paper mache egg
  • assorted lace
  • lace ribbon
  • 1- pink fuzzy flocked bunny
  • silk flowers
  • velvet ribbon
  • colorful ribbon of your choice
  • Mod Podge
  • glue gun
  • clear glue sticks
  • small rocks or weight for the bottom of the egg
  • x-acto knife

Instructions

  1. Cut out hole in the front of the egg large enough for the bunny to fit in, add a hair extra space for the velvet ribbon later.

  3. Cut out a piece of lace to lay across the back of the egg, Mod Podge into place and let dry.

  5. Heat up glue gun and put in clear glue stick.

  6. Take the lace ribbon and cut a strip long enough to encircle the bottom of the egg, glue into place.

  7. Take the colorful ribbon and glue into place along the sides and over the top of the egg and let harden.

  9. Take the velvet ribbon and glue into place around the edge of the hole. You will have to glue and press into place, wait till it hardens and then continue edging around.
  10. Glue silk flowers onto egg in desired locations, on the top, along the bottom etc;

  12. Place the rocks inside the egg, just enough so that the egg doesn't tip over forward when the bunny is in place.

  14. Glue bunny into place.
