Bat Pipe Cleaner Craft

Create this little vampire bat and just like his friends Frankenstein and Jack O' Lantern, glue a magnet on back, a pin back to wear or nothing at all! Glue him to the front of a card or treat cup, whatever your hallowed Halloween needs might be.

Materials:
2 black pipe cleaners (fuzzy, metallic or shiny)
2 tiny google eyes
Magnet, pin back (optional)
hot glue gun

1. Bend one of the black pipe cleaners into the shape of one wing. The example is 2 inchs long 1/2 inch wide, wider at the ends. Start with the rounded part of the wing first and then work the pointed ends into the shape. Trim off excess pipe cleaner.

2. Glue the ends of the wings together, then create the second wing, also gluing the ends. Once that glue has hardened, apply a dab of glue to one of the wings and press the other into that dab, with as little overlap as possible.

3. Take a piece of black pipe cleaner and start wrapping around the glued wings area, wrap so that you start to get an oval or oblong looking shape to form the bat's body.

4. Once you're satisfied with the size, stop, apply a dab of glue to the end and adhere the loose end to the back of the bat's body.

5. Cut two very small bits of pipe cleaner for ears and glue on to the back of the bat's head with just a drop of glue.

6. Glue on the googley eyes.

7. Add magnets, pin backs, glue to card etc;

That's it!
