Jack O' Lantern Pipe Cleaner

Jack O' Lantern Pipe Cleaner

Create this fun little guy and glue a magnet on back, a pin back to wear or nothing at all! Glue him to the front of a card or treat cup, whatever your Jack O' Lantern needs might be.

Materials:
2-3 orange pipe cleaners (fuzzy, metallic or shiny)
2 google eyes
1/4 inch green pipe cleaner piece (for stem)
1 inch black pipe cleaner piece (for mouth)
Magnet, pin back (optional)

1. Bend one of the orange pipe cleaners into a circle to create the base of the jack o' lantern. Twist the ends together to finish. The example pumpkin is 1 1/2 inches wide and 1 1/2 inches tall. Trim excess pipe cleaner (you won't use a whole one.)

2. Take the piece of green pipe cleaner and apply a dab of glue, glue piece to pumpkin top.

3. Take the excess orange pipe cleaner from step 1 and weave between the Jack O' Lantern base. Fold the end of of the pipe cleaner around one side so that it pinches and holds so that you can run the pipe cleaner piece across to the other side, wrap around the edge and pull the pipe cleaner taught (without bending the pumpkin circle base) and wrap around the opposite edge. Repeat until you have covered the entire base with orange pipe cleaner.

4. Take the piece of black pipe cleaner and form the mouth, you may want a smiley, a straight line, half smile of jagged like in the example. Glue the mouth to the pumpkin.

5. Apply dabs of glue to the back of the google eyes and place on the pumpkin.

6. Add magnets, pin backs, glue to card etc;

That's it!
