Turn A Glue Gun Into A Electric Stove

I'm not saying this is a great idea and that we should all dismantle our Dollar Store glue guns, but I have to say that it is pretty inventive. Please use a regular stove at home, but enjoy this very informative and very simple tutorial and how to turn the components from a glue gun into a tiny electric stove. Sculpy Clay Card

What you will need: Clear glue sticks Cardstock or ready made card Small cookie cutter in flower shape (or whatever!) Sculpy in desired colors (at least 2) Sculpy glaze Green glitter glue or fabric paint Using a pasta machine or roller, roll the Sculpy out into thin sheets. A little baby powder on the cookie cutter edges will keep the Sculpy from sticking! If you don't… Read More

C is for...Cupcake!

I drooled a little when I saw this inspired pincushion craft idea by Siamkatze (of Cut Out and Keep). It's surprisingly quick and easy - and looks good enough to eat. The Ingredients The only secret ingredient here is the plastic base - it's made with a fruit or… Read More

Pom Pom Flag

This craft cost exactly $1.00 to make. I got a bag of red, white and blue, tiny pom poms from the dollar bin at JoAnn's and made this American flag in honor of the 4th of July! It's pretty open on what you can do with it: attach a wooden dowel and stick it in a garden or planter, attach to the front of a card, glue to an unsharpened pencil for a mini parade flag or even use it as a coaster! Materials: Glue gun/ clear glue sticks Metallic pom poms in the 1/4 inch size (red, white, blue)… Read More
